Ecstatic Dance Fairfax is back again! We are starting once a month to get us back into shape over the Summer...
FRIDAY, JUNE 10, 2022 AT 7 PM – 11 PM
Where:  Fairfax Community Church, 2398 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Fairfax, CA 94930
When:  Monthly, one Friday a Month over the Summer

7:00pm - Contage (Contact Improv meets Massage)
8:00pm - Warm Up Set
8:30pm - Opening Circle / Invocation
9:00pm - Ecstatic Dance Set
11:00pm - Closing Circle / Meditation
Masks are Required for the Non-Vaccinated
Masks are Optional for the Vaccinated
Cost:  $20 Cash at the door

Space:  Great Space:  wooden dance floor in home of dances for 20 years - limited free parking
Music:  Ecstatic DownTemple (the old name) has shifted gears!   We will continue to honor the Deliciously Deep, Divine, & Sultry DownTemple Vibe, and add more Playful, Upbeat, & Invigorating Music, more synonymous of the Ecstatic Dance Journey.  The Opening & Closing Circle, will be led by a different Community Member each week.  

3 Simple Guidelines:
  1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)  This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)  If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK  
  2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)  This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State  No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators.  No Talking from the Dancers.  (You may whisper on the mats or benches in the back of the room, as long as no one on the dancefloor can hear you).   
  3. We Dance as We Are.  No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
